The 15th edition of Budapest Central European Fashion Week (BCEFW), organized by the Hungarian Fashion and Design Agency (HFDA), will take place from February 10-16 in Budapest. Since its inception in 2018, BCEFW has grown from 1,500 to over 5,000 guests per season, with a strong online following. The primary aim of the competition is to provide young designers with the opportunity to work creatively with fur and leather, presenting their innovative designs to a professional audience and the press. Creations of Hungarian designers on the TCLF Budapest Fair catwalk
The Hungarian Fur and Leather Trade Association has announced its large scale event “Furboom 2024”, which will take place on 12 November at the same time and place as the TCLF Budapest Fair. The prestigious Puskás Arena Sky Club will host the event.
The event will showcase the creations of well-known and promising designers in various material combinations (textile-fur, leather-fur, textile-leather, etc.) and categories.
The event’s sponsors place great emphasis on promoting of natural products (fur, leather, cotton, wool, etc.), as sustainability and environmental protection are important to both TCLF Budapest Fair and the associations supporting the competition. This show is a must attend event for designers and fashion industry players.
